Travel is no longer just about short getaways and packed itineraries. More people are choosing to stay longer in one place, not only to save on costs, but to experience destinations in a more meaningful and comfortable way.

Longer stays allow travellers to slow down. Instead of rushing from one attraction to another, guests have the time to settle into a routine, explore neighbourhoods, and experience daily life beyond the usual tourist spots. This shift has been especially noticeable among remote workers, professionals on extended assignments, and travellers seeking a better balance between work and leisure.

Comfort plays a key role in this change. When staying for more than a few nights, basic hotel setups can start to feel restrictive. Limited space, lack of storage, and the absence of everyday essentials often make longer hotel stays less practical. Homes designed for extended stays offer a different experience, providing space to relax, cook, work, and unwind without feeling temporary.
